Colonial Country Club
Fort
Worth, Texas
Consistently ranked among the top 100 golf courses in
the world, Colonial Country Club has hosted numerous
events, which included the 1941 U.S. Open, the 1975
Players Championship and the 1991 U.S. Women's Open.
Each May, PGA Tour Professionals gather here for the
annual Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial, the longest
running event on the PGA Tour played at the same venue
(since 1946).
After the event in 2008, we set out to return this wonderful course back to its original design intent. The program consisted of tee to green work on all holes including bunkers and tree removal. The program at Colonial was completed on time and within budget.
"The
changes are fabulous. This is the best redesign of a
classic course that I've ever seen."
— Tom Kite, Tour Professional & Texas Native
"This is the best, most traditional golf course we play
each year. Keith Foster did a fabulous job on the renovation
throughout the course. If you want to see how to renovate
a traditional golf course, a visit to Colonial is a
must."
— Davis Love III, Tour Professional
