Omaha Country Club
Omaha, Nebraska
Omaha Country Club was the last work of Perry Maxwell's brilliant career. In 1951, Mr. Maxwell reworked most of the holes, reconfigured a few, and rebunkered the course while putting his hand on most of the greens.
In the spring of 2004, we were retained
to prepare a Master Plan for this wonderful golf course. In April
2005, membership presentations were successfully made, establishing
the desire to restore and enhance the golf course. The necessary
design work and the securing of the contractor was completed during the fall of 2005, with construction being completed in the fall of 2006.
Omaha Country Club reopened in June of 2007 to sweeping membership acclaim.
"The golf course opened to rave reviews from the membership. You achieved the goal of keeping the course fun and playable from the regular tees, but making it a real challenge from the tips. It feels more open, spacious and cleaned up. The vistas are magnificent. You have really brought out the natural beauty as it follows the wonderful ground upon which it is located. Thank you for your creativity in bringing out the true potential of the course and for your diligence in making it all happen. The final result exceeded even our high expectations." — Paul Conley, President, Omaha Country Club
