St. Clair Country Club
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
St. Clair Country Club has a history which dates back to 1916. In the early 1960s, the Club retained Dick Wilson to create a championship layout. Mr. Wilson soon passed away, and Joe Lee, his partner, undertook the project.
A Master Plan was prepared and presented to its membership, which includes extensive bunker and tee work, tree removal, drainage and a new irrigation system. The renovation of St. Clair's 18-hole course was accomplished during a July through November 2007 timeline. The complete renovation program was completed on time and within budget. St. Clair Country Club re-opened early May 2008.
